During the Covid-19 pandemic, we embarked on a mission to Muresa/Sud-Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with the aim of assisting elderly women. Our team managed to distribute both food and non-food items to 70 women living under challenging and unstable conditions. This visit also served as an opportunity to educate the locals about the risks of the Covid-19 pandemic, which many had dismissed as a conspiracy. As part of our awareness campaign, we distributed protective items such as masks, soaps, and hand sanitizers. Our actions were guided by two Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 1, which focuses on eradicating poverty, and SDG 4, which advocates for gender equality.
